Will you join our party?

So Alec and I decided to do something a little fun and creative for our friends and family inviting them to join our wedding party. We took pictures of ourselves holding up handmade signs and put them together to resemble an old fashion film strip. It was our first real project as a couple and we had so much fun. He completes me.

On the back we wrote out a sweet message to each member of the bridal party formally inviting them to join. :)

Antique Shopping

So my fiance and I went antique mall hopping today in search of items for our wedding. We couldn't have been more successful. Instead of renting dessert plates, cups, flat wear etc... we decided to purchase antique dishes of different patterns and colors, and set these out for use by our guests. We were able to find over 200 plates at less than $2 a piece. Our next best purchase was this antique typewriter. All the buttons work great there is just a certain point where the ribbon gets stuck. We got a great deal on it, so even if we can't get it to work perfectly it will be a great prop. More wedding shopping purchases and ideas to come.
