My name is Jenny and I am the owner and creator of Turquoise Feathers. I have been an artist for about as long as I can remember, always drawing, sketching, taking pictures and designing. In 2008, I had the privilege of putting my artistic talents to good use with a full ride to attend the Herron School of Art & Design studying visual communications. Through out my last four years at Herron, I have truly developed as an artist and found my style niche with a love for all things vintage, handmade, and classic. I love the ability to use my artistic background in creating hand-drawn type, graphics, and imagery. I thrive on the ability to determine a clients needs, and make their vision come to life. Its about you. Your invitations, cards, and graphics shouldn't look like your neighbors down the street. I look at each client and opportunity as a way to try something new, be creative, and make it special. I love experimenting with new printing techniques, letterpress, stamping, fabric, texture, typography, and so much more. I would love the opportunity to make your design project special and taylored to you.
When it comes to photography, its truly about capturing moments, real, unstaged, life filled moments, and that is truly what I strive to do. The best photographs happen when you least expect them too. Laughter, love, and happiness all excite and inspire me.
When I am not designing, I love thinking, creating, photographing, baking, and spending time with my amazing husband, family, and friends. On March 10, 2012, I had the privlege of marrying my best friend in the whole world and I couldn't be happier!! I had a blast designing, creating, and making our wedding day come to life.
