Vintage Recipe Card Bridal Shower Invitation Suite

Evening everyone! I am so excited to bring you a project that has been very special to me. My bridal shower recipe card invitations have finally been sent out and so glad to finally be able to post them. My mom, maid of honor, and myself have gotten together numerous times to plan the shower, and I was so excited to be able to create the invites to go along with it. My mom has been working incredibly hard to make this the shower perfect, and I couldn't be more appreciative. She is the best mom I could ever ask for and I wouldn't want anyone else right there beside me planning this whole thing! I knew I wanted to have the guests bring recipes with them, so we decided on a kitchen theme. The guests are to fill out the recipe card with one of their favorite recipes, and then if they choose to purchase gift, I asked that they purchase something from the registry that would help me make that dish! So fun. I knew I wanted to stick with the color scheme from the wedding (those being my favorite colors :) but I wanted something that was dainty and pretty. The invitation itself was hand lettered and drawn and the recipe card was edged with a super lovely Martha Stewart edge punch that I absolutely adore! The three pieces were bundled together and mailed out to all the guests just this week. Hope you enjoy as much as I do! :)

Hope to see you soon!

Handdrawn Vintage Turquoise & Yellow Invitation Suite

Now that we have officially sent out our wedding invitations, I am so excited that I can offically post them for everyone to see! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they came out and I am so proud that these are for our wedding. They mimic Alec and I's style so well. Vintage, yet fun and still sophisticated. Lots of patterns, fonts, and textures are used to create the same feeling of our wedding. I am so excited to start getting back our RSVPs in the mail and for everyone to see these in person. Enjoy :)

The brown envelopes were all handwritten by myself and written using a white GellyRoll gel pen. I never thought I'd pick up another one of those after middle school, but they ended up giving the exact feel I wanted :)

A preview of some of the elements you will see at the wedding. I can't wait!!

Until another creative idea,

Jennifer
